History:

He was a Spanish teacher, philologist and stage director. Director of the Escuela de Investigación Lingüística (Faculty of Linguistic Investigation) of Madrid. He has published an extensive work, with titles oriented to the paper about the Spanish medieval and Renaissance literature. Among his books are: "Índice verbal de La Celestina" (1955), "Teatro Medieval" (1963), "De la Edad Media al Siglo de Oro" (1965), "El Quijote y Cervantes de ayer a hoy" (2005). In addition, he has directed and presented several programs which provided information about the right usage of language, in Radio Nacional de España and in Televisión Española, such as "El espectador y el lenguaje" (1969-1970), "De la A a la Z" (1972-1973) o "Lengua viva" (1977-1978), "Universidad TV", "Itinerarios Españoles", "Diálogos de Don Quijote y Sancho", "El habla de Madrid". Due to his father, he was linked to the Alcarria, native of Rebollosa de Hita.
