History:

Spanish painter and decorator, son of Bernardo Giner de los Ríos and Elsa Morales, and former student of the Free Educational Institution, founded by his great-uncle Francisco Giner de los Ríos. He served in the Spanish Civil War and, after being imprisoned in concentration camps, he exiled with his family in Santo Domingo and later in Mexico.
