Professor of Philosphy and Jurisprudence at the University of Seville. In addition, he was an ecclesiastic and a doctor in Theology.

He was a canon of the metropolitan see in Seville when he died, probably because of his exile due to his opposition to Espartero’s government. Moreover, in 1843 he was a member of those who opposed that government and he was a member of the Provincial Council of Seville’s Government.

In 1847 he got the Chair of Ecclesiastic Discipline at the same university.

He also held the following positions:

Lawyer at the Royal Audience [it was an appellate court in Spain and its empire], doctor and General prosecutor of the Archbishopric of Seville.
