History:

He was a teacher of Geography and History of the Senior High Schools of Segovia and Vitoria, and became a professor of Political Economy and Statistics of the Faculty of Law of the Universidad de Valladolid.

Son of Plácido María Orodea and of Inés María Eulogia de Ibarra, he graduated in Law at the Universidad de Valladolid and obtained the doctorate from the Universidad Central in 1865. He was appointed professor of Political Economy and Statistics of the Faculty of Law of the Universidad de Valladolid in 1870.

Other activities:

Founder and first secretary of the Ateneo Científico, Artístico y Literario of Vitoria.

Promoter of the magazine of the Ateneo Científico, Artístico y Literario of Vitoria.

Member of the Real Academia de Bellas Artes of Valladolid.
