History:
He was a Spanish professor of Political Law and vicerrector of the Universidad de Valencia, son of José Rafael de Olóriz and Antonia Martínez. Graduated in Law by the Universidad de Valencia. He obtained the degree of doctor in Civil and Canon Law from the Universidad Central in 1878. He was appointed permanent professor of Political and Administrative Law of the Universidad de Valencia.
Other activities:
Member of the Bar Association of Valencia.
Appointed substitute municipal judge by the Court of Valencia of the district of Mar, Valencia, during the biennium from 1879 to 1881.
Member of the Sociedad Económica de Amigos del País de Valencia. He was correspondent member of the society of Toledo.
Editor of the Academia de Legislación y Jurisprudencia de Valencia.
Counselor of the Institución para la Enseñanza de la Mujer.
When he passed away, he donated his library to the Universidad de Valencia and founded a legacy, whose rents should be destined to the finance of academic initiatives. He also ordered the selling of his assets for the construction of public schools.
