Derwin Abrahams was an American film director.
He began his career as assistant director. Later, as a film director, he spent his years of highest activity (1941-1948) in the Columbia Studios filming movies like "Northwest trail" (1945), "Docks of New Orleans" (1948) and "Whistling Hills" (1951). However, he is also known for filming series like "Cisco Kid" (1950) and "Hopalong Cassidy" (1952).
