Per Ahlin is a Swedish artist and animation film director.

He started his career as an artist in 1964 by collaborating with Hasse & Tage comic duo and also as book illustrator. Later on, he made animated movies like "Out of an old man's head" (1968) and "The adventures of Picasso" (1978). He founded his own animation studio in 1970, PennFilm Studio AB, and since 2009 he has directed eight full-length films and several short films, including "Sagan om Karl-Bertil Jonssons julafton" (1975). In Guldbagge awards, he won in 1975 a special prize for the "Dunderklumpen" movie (1974), and in 1990 he won another prize for his creativity. "The journey to Melonia" (1989) stands out between his own projects.
