Samuel Armstrong is an American film director, writer and animator.

His most famous movie is, undoubtedly, "Fantasía" (1940). He was directly connected with Walt Disney and was one of the most famous animators of the fourties. The first Disney creations were made by this prolific director. His most popular works are "Snow White and the Seven Dawrfs" (1937), "Dumbo" (1941) and "Bambi" (1942). All of them are the four movies that raise this director to the top of animation business. He died the 29th September 1976 at the age of 83 in Minneapolis.
