Enzo Barboni was an Italian film and photography director and scriptwriter.
He began working very young as war correspondent at the Eastern Front during Second World War and later in 1942 as camera operator. In 1961, he became photography director. His debut was in 1970 with Chuck Moll, but with no success. However, his next movie did obtain success: "The call me Trinity" (1970) with actors like Bud Spencer and Terence Hill. The secuel of this movie, "Trinity is STILL my name!" (1971), became the most profitable Italian movie so far. Later on, he made comedy movies, although he was declining as well as his actors. He directed in 1994 "Troublemakers", bit it did not work and tried it again with "Trinità & Bambino... e adesso tocca a noi!" with the same result.
He died in Rome the 23th March 2002 at the age of 79.
