Camillo Bazzoni is an Italian photography and film director.
He is a lover of phtography and started in the movie business as camera assistant of Vicenzo Seratrice, Aldo Scavarda or Vittorio Storaro. In 1956, he made his debut as photography director in a movie directed by his brother Luigi: "The lady of the lake". In 1968, he directed his first solo movie, a Speghetti western, "A long rode from hell". At the end of the seventies, he stopped directing and focused on being director assistant with Mario Monicelli, Salvatore Samperi, etc. He gained success with Bernanrdo Bertolucci. He was for a short time in Hollywood, but came back to Italy. At the eighties and nineties he continued working on photography within movies like "The ways of the Lord are over" (1987) or "I thought it was love, but it was a barouche" (1991), both directed by Massimo Troisi.
