History:

Marcel Blistène was a French film and television director.

He started as film producer in his first works, especially during Second World War and postwar period. From 1958 he achieved to establish on television. He was Édith Piaf's director par excellence and they both made a perfect duo that filmed many movies together, such as "Étoile sans lumière" (1946) and "Les amants de demain" (1959). Other popular movies were "Le sorcier du ciel" (1949) and "Gueule d'ange" (1955).

He died the 2nd August 1991 in Côte d'Azur (France) at the age 80.
