History:

Felix Bodrossy was a Hungarian film director.

He started in 1938 as camera apprentice and assistant in a cinema company in Budapest. During Second World War he was war correspondant for two years. Between 1947 and 1948 he worked in Independent news making articles and, in 1949 he made documentaries and news. His debut in cinema was in 1951 with "Zoo Walk" along with José Gyorffy. He stood out in this field with the carrying out of special effects within the movies he made. Some of his most famous movies are "Peking palotài" (1957), "Jàtèk a szerelemmel" (1959) and "Màjusi Fagy" (1962).

He died the 10th Febraury 1983 in Budapest at the age of 62.
