History:

Spanish chartered accountant and French teacher exiled in Mexico. Born in Barcelona in 1917 she was the daughter of the painter Carmen Cortés Lladó and Jaime Aguadé Miró, doctor and mayor of Barcelona, among other political positions. After the Spanish Civil War, the whole family went into exile to Mexico arriving at Puerto de Veracruz in 1941 among other members of their family.
