Bona Valencia, María (1901-?)

Exiled Spanish tobacconist and militant of the UGT (General Union of Workers). She was a widower political refugee. During the Spanish Civil War she was a member of the National Federation of Workers. She went into exile first to France, and she lived in Orleans (Loiret). She entered Veracruz (Mexico) aboard the Mexique when she was 38 years old. She was a beneficiary of the JARE (Board of Assistance to Spanish Republicans) and the SERE (Evacuation Services for Spanish Republicans).
