History:

Exiled Spanish teacher. Daughter of the Chair of the Insituto Manuel Castillo Quijada and María Iglesias Martín. Her siblings were: Luis, Diego and Agustina. Once the Spanish Civil War ended, she went into exile to France in 1939, living in Toulouse with her parents and siblings. After the Nazi occupation of France, in the setting of the Second World War, the family went into exile to Mexico, arriving in Veracruz in 1942. She passed away in Mexico, just like her sister Agustina. Her brothers Luis and Diego returned to Spain once democracy was established.
