Exiled Spanish anarchist. Born in a family of ten siblings, of which only four survived. Among them, Francisco Ascaso, Durruti's companion who died fighting the uprising in Barcelona on July 20, 1939; Domingo Ascaso, leader of the National Confederation of Labor and leader of the Ascaso Column, assassinated in the events of May 1937; and finally Alejandro Ascaso, who went into exile in Puerto Rico.
She is with Luis Riera, an anarchist, and they had a daughter: Sol. Both died in Bordeaux after being in a concentration camp.
She went into exile to Mexico after being in Santo Domingo, to where she arrived aboard the Lasalle. She arrives in Mexico along Emilia Abadía Abad, her mother and her new husband, Mariano Francés Alonso, from Villaherreros, Palencia, and who was affiliated to the Reinosa Socialist Association.
