History:

Spanish writer, exiled in Mexico. Activist of Izquierda Republicana, the party of Manuel Azaña. During the Civil War he was a probation officer of the Investigation and Security Council of the General Directorate of Security in Madrid. He collaborated as an auxiliary at the administration of the CTARE in Mexico.

In 1947 he participated at the tribute to Antonio Machado organized at the city of Mexico by the publishing company Séneca, founded by Spanish exiled people.

He also participated in the tribute organized by the Ateneo Español de Mexico of loyalty to the Spanish Republic in 1951, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the military uprising of 1936.
