History:

Spanish politician and diplomat. His brother-in-law was the historian Pedro Bosh Gimpera, since Gimpera's wife was Badía's wife sister. Badía worked as a deputy at the Courts for Girona elected in the 1933 and 1936 elections. Right when the Spanish Civil War broke out, he hid in the Mexican Embassy of Madrid. He died at the beginning of 1937 due to a disease. Badía specialized in South-American geopolitics, and wrote the following works: "Ideario de la colonia española" (Spanish colony's ideology) and "El factor geográfico en la política sudamericana" (The Geographical Factor in South-American Politics).
