History:

Jiří Brdečka was a Czech film and television scriptwriter, writer and film and short film director. He came from a letters family that caused him to have interest in literature. Before starting to work in the cinema business, he was journalist and animator. His most famous works are "Limonádový Joe aneb Konská opera" (1964), "Prazske noci" (1969) and "The Emperor and the Golem" (1952).
