History:

Anthony Bushell was a British actor and film director. At the beginning, he studied in Oxford and stood out in sports, but later wnated to study in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He met the actress Zelma O'Neal while performing and moved with her to Broadway and Hollywood, where he continued with his career. In 1932, he came back to London and started the second phase of his career. He served in the Second World War with the British Army and got married with his second wife. He developed his career especially as actor, but he also directed 11 movies. Among the most famous ones are: "A Night to Remember" (1958), "The Scarlet Pimpernel" (1934) and "The Battle of the River Plate" (1956).
