History:

Enrique Carreras was a Peruvian-Argentinian film director and scriptwriter. Carreras began with his career as film director in 1951. Although he directed a great number of movies, we do not know any special features about his life. He was awarded twice with the Cóndor de Plata, an Argentinian prize, for Best Picture for "The Escaped" (1964) and "La Valija" (1971). Among his most outstanding movies are: "La industria del matrimonio" (1965), "Este cura" (1968) and "Los padrinos" (1973).
