History:
In 1937, the Department of Administrative Technicians of Urban Property, which belonged to the CNT's Trade Union of Liberal Professionals of Barcelona, and the Committee of Defense of Tenancy Rights, which belonged to the Trade Union of Construction of Barcelona, merged into a new entity called the National Urban Administration of Barcelona.
