Luigi Comencini was an Italian film director and scriptwriter. Comencini spent his childhood in Paris due to his father’s job and it was there where he discovered the world of cinema. He studied architecture and was a film critic until he began to direct. He was one of the founders of “la commedia all'italiana” (Italian-style comedy) and worked with great Italian actors and actresses such as Vittorio De Sica y Gina Lollobrigida. Among his most popular films are: “Looking for Jesus” (1982), “Traffic Jam” (1979) and “Till Marriage Do Us Part” (1974).
