History:

Carmen Sierra Bárcena is a Spanish archivist. She was assigned to the Archive of the Administración Institucional de Servicios Socioprofesionales (ISSA; Institutional Administration of Socioprofessional Services), an organ that took charge of the documentary funds of the now‑defunct National Delegation of Trade Unions. After that, she worked at the Centro de Información Documental de Archivos (CIDA) from its foundation and for more than 20 years, being responsible for the Documentary Section of that Center. Later, between 2006 and 2018, she was Director of the Archivo Histórico Nacional (AHN; National Historical Archive) of Madrid.
