Spanish lawyer and politician. José García‑Berlanga was son of the lawyer and politician Fidel García Berlanga and of Engracia Pardo Gabaldón, as well as father of the filmmaker Luis García Berlanga. During the Second Republic he was a parliamentary deputy by the Partido Republicano Radical (Republican Radical Party) for the province of Valencia.
