History:

Actor, scripter and film director. Born in Germany, he obtained the Mexican nationality later on. He mainly worked in fiction science and fighters films. In 1938 he emigrated to New York. Later on, he traveled to Mexico City to work in "The Night of the Mayas" (1939), directed by Chano Urueta (1904-1979). Having created more than 150 films, Crevanna is one of the most prolific Mexican directors. He directed his first feature film "Adán, Eva y El Diablo" in 1945. Some other Crevanna's films are "Otra primavera" (1950), "Mi esposa y la otra" (1952) and "Casa de muñecas" (1954).
