History:

US scriptwriter, producer, and film director. He began his career in the film industry in 1916, producing comic shorts, which were not very successful. In 1921 he worked as a scriptwriter and director in a series called "Great American Authors". In 1925 he established his own company, performing the series "Famous Music Masters" and "Songs Of". In 1930 he began to film travel documentaries for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, which began to be shot in Technicolor from 1934. In 1954 he started working for Paramount, producing "VistaVision Visits".
