History:

He was an Italian-American animation director. He made his first projects for Bray Productions, where he worked with Walter Lantz (1899-1994). In 1931 he entered Disney Studios, where he stayed for most of his career. In 1942 his short film "Lend a paw" won an Oscar for best animated short film. After World War II, he became an animation director, and co-directed films such as "Alice in Wonderland" (1951) and "101 Dalmatians" (1961). After leaving the Disney studios, he worked on several TV shows series, such as "Spider-Man" (1967).
