History:

He was an American actor, animator, screenwriter and director. He began his career working for "Help!" magazine as an animator and strip cartoonist. After that he joined the series "Monty Python's Flying Circus" as an animator, and then as a full member, appearing in some of the sketches of the series. He directed several films such as "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" (1975) and after the breakup of the Monty Python troupe he wrote scripts and directed films like "Brazil" (1985) and "The Adventures of Baron Munchausen" (1988).
