History:

Spanish soldier and colonel. Espoz y Mina's confidant. He was a member of the former Royal Guard, called Guardia de Corps, in Catalonia during the Trienio Liberal (Liberal Triennium) and was exiled in London because of its faillure. He appeared later in the Patriotic Universal Center of London in 1826. In 1822, he was arrested along with Colonel Costa. It is said that throughout the emigration to England, he was the confidant of the Spanish ambassador. Between 1830-1831, when he was exiled in France, he was chair of the Provincial Junta of Cataluña, that was directed by Francisco Miláns del Bosch and another members like Felio Rovira Galcerán, Thomas Raset, Mariano Goucer and secretary Pablo Janer. He died in Barcelona in 1843 for uprising in defence of the Central Junta.
