Spanish Mayor, Senator, Minister. In some documents his surname appears like "Farrús".

He began his military career being political chief of Ávila, and in 1820, he was the Army's Mayor. Between 1820-1822, he was the director of the Junta Nacional del Crédito Público, and he became Minister of the Junta Central Provisional. In the Trienio Liberal (Liberal Triennium), he was linked to the supporters of Rafael de Riego. He was an accountant of the King's Mayordomía Mayor. He was the first editor of Gaceta de Madrid. Between 1838-1839, he was the General Director of the Rentas de la Lotería Nacional, and temporary editor of La Gaceta de la Regencia. In 1841, he swore as Senator of Tarragona. In 1843, and by royal decree, he was in charge of the Despacho de la Contaduría General.

He was married to María Pascual Bonanza. His brother, Manuel de Borja Tarriús, was the official of the Contaduría General de Consolidación del Antiguo Crédito Público. His other brother, Joaquín de Borja Tarriús, was Knight commander of the Order of Isabel la Católica, and secretary of the Etiqueta and Ceremonial del Palacio.
