General officer, adjutant of the Estado Mayor (military staff), second member in charge of the Official Army Commission and of the ministry's orders. From nobility ascendants. He was page of Charles IV of Spain. Infantry Captain since 1794. He participated in battles such as the War of the Pyrenees or War of Convention. In the Peninsular War he was deployed in Galicia under the order of Joaquín Blake Joyes, who left him in charge of reporting on the Army's situation before the Cortes of Cádiz.

He supported the military uprising of Riego that led to the Trienio Liberal (Liberal Triennium). On 20 May 1822 he was in military charge for the province of Cádiz. He emigrated to England where he collaborated with the magazine "Ocio de Españoles Emigrantes". Master of the Order of San Fernando.
