Pontejos Sandoval, María Ana (1762-1834)Other forms
1762 - 1834
Marchioness of Pontejos. In 1786, she married Francisco Moñino Redondo, brother of the Count of Floridablanca. Precisely, his fall in disgrace caused the exile of the couple in Murcia. In 1808, she was widowed and married again to the Sevillian nobleman Fernando de Silva Meneses, who died in 1817. She married a third time, this time to a man related to the bourgeoisie and younger than her: José Vizcaíno. His political ideas motivated a new exile of the Marchioness, this time to Paris, in 1822. There, her house became one of the nuclei of the confluence of the Spanish exile of the Trienio (Triennium).
