Spanish historian and teacher, she studied Philosophy and Arts at the Central University of Madrid. She obtained a scholarship from the British Council of London in June 1936. Thanks to this scholarship she attended several courses about the English language and Literature at the University College of London. After traveling to Paris and Rome, she returned to Spain in October 1937, where she devoted herself to giving lessons of languages in high schools of San Sebastian, Osuna, and Huelva. During the academic year 1939- 1940, she was a teacher of French language in the Cardenal Cisneros High School of Madrid. In 1942 she took the competitive examinations for a chair of English and French language. She finished her career as a French teacher at the National High School of Guadalajara. She retired in 1964.
She was married to renowned medievalist Antonio de la Torre y del Cerro, she along with him wrote Cuentas de Gonzalo de Baeza, tesorero de Isabel la Católica (1955-1956) and Testamentaría de Isabel la Católica (1974). Besides, they developed their own research activity, as a result of this, they wrote articles such as Viajes y transportes en tiempos de los Reyes Católicos (1954), Maestre Antonio Inglés y Melchor Alemán, pintores de los Reyes Católicos (1955), Michel Sittou, pintor de Isabel La Católica: su estancia en España (1958), Bartolomé de Cárdenas Bermejo (1978) or Jaime el Conquistador y sus relaciones con los Santos Lugares (1980).
En 1957 estuvo investigando en el Archivo General de Simancas sobre "Tesoreros y camareros de la reina Isabel I".
