Spanish composer, priest, and organist.
He was born on May 30, 1874, in Zaragoza. He was the son of Manuel Soler Lamarca and Miguela Palmer. He studied at the Escuela Municipal de Música de Zaragoza.
He was the organist of Epila (Zaragoza) until, in 1899, he won the position of choirmaster at the Catedral de Santiago de Compostela through a public examination. In 1901, he wrote Tratado de música para las Escuelas Normales in collaboration with Miguel Arnaudas Larrodé, and in 1905, Breve método de canto gregoriano.
From 1909, he was a music professor at the Escuela Normal de Maestros de Santiago. He composed the music for the "Himno oficial del apóstol Santiago", which was premiered in 1919, and took over the choir of the Unión Artística Compostelana in 1930. That same year, Manuel de Falla wrote to him in order to help teacher Agustín Hernández.
He moved to Madrid in 1934, where he also worked as a music professor at the Escuela Normal de Maestros. He stood out for composing religious pieces, salon music such as polkas and mazurkas, and military music. He passed away in 1954 in Torrevelilla (Teruel).
