Spanish Jesuit, teacher, writer and poet.
He was born in Fuentecén (Burgos) in 1868 and passed away in Oña (Burgos) in 1947. He studied at the Colegio de la Inmaculada Concepción in Aranda de Duero and at the Seminario Conciliar in El Burgo de Osma. He joined the Society of Jesus in 1890 and was a teacher of mathematics, literature and philosophy. In 1923, together with composer José María de Beobide, he wrote the text for the three-act zarzuela "La muñeca de China" and later for the "Himno del Colegio de la Merced". He also wrote the lyrics to "Minatchi" (1925) and "Himno al Valle de Valdivielso"(1930), with music by Burgos composer Antonio José Martínez Palacios. González wrote for the magazines "El Siglo de las Misiones", "La Estrella de Mar" and "Voluntad"; he also authored the Spanish version of "Marcha a San Ignacio" and a new arrangement of the auto sacramental "El peregrino" by José de Valdivielso.
In 1930, he coordinated the publication "Cantos de amor al Corazón de Jesús", a compilation of pieces by Spanish musicians, for which he asked Manuel de Falla for a musical composition, which was never materialized. González wrote the lyrical dramas "Un congregante mártir" (1943) and "Santa Casilda" and published several works on historical or religious themes, including "Ardores de un serafín: el P. Agustín de Cardaveraz en sus íntimas comunicaciones, principalmente con el Sagrado Corazón de Jesús" (1924), "En la antigua Burgos, cabeza de Castilla" (1941) and "Vida del Padre Agustín de Cardaveraz, apóstol del Corazón de Jesús" (1947).
