History:

French harpist.

Born on 3 August 1878 in Paris. She married the French pianist Luciens Wurmser, with whom she made concerts. Specialist in the chromatic harp with no pedals, she studied in the Conservatoire National de Musique et Déclamation of Paris. She was a soloist in the Orchestre Symphonique of Paris, of the Concerts de Colonne, Symphony Society of New York, Boston Symphony Orchestra, and of the Concertgebouw of Amsterdam. She credited the premiere in 1904 of the piece" Danse sacrée et profane", by Claude Debussy. She developed her artistic career in Paris, where in May 1927 she premiered "Soneto a Córdoba" by Manuel de Falla, together with Magdeleine Greslé in the Salle Pleyel. She passed away in May 1933.
