History:
Spanish teacher. She studied Philosophy and Arts at the University of Madrid, where she presented her thesis on Gibraltar en la primera mitad del s. XIX a través de la documentación consular (1959). In 1964, she passed the competitive exams for Numerary Associate Teachers of the National Institute of Secondary School. She specialised in English and worked at the Female High School of Gijón.
En 1957 investigó en el Archivo Histórico Nacional sobre el "Pensamiento político durante la Guerra de la Independencia" y en 1958-59 sobre "Gibraltar en el siglo XIX" en ese mismo centro.
