Spanish historian and journalist. He was born on 29th June 1914.
He entered the University of Zaragoza in the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts, where he joined the Catholic Students Association. He graduated in 1934 and, from 1937, he began to work as an editor of the newspaper of San Sebastián La Voz de España, where he became Deputy Director. During his career he worked in different media of la Prensa del Movimiento becoming director of Unidad of San Sebastián, Hierro of Bilbao and El Pueblo Gallego of Vigo.
He juggled his journalistic career with politics, he was a councillor of the town hall of San Sebastian and Provincial Councillor of el Movimiento for Guipúzcoa. Furthermore, he devoted himself to studying and researching, hence, he was the author of several historical works, among them the most remarkable ones are: "El Fuero de San Sebastián" (1963); "Glosas Euskaras" (1975); "El Archivo quemado de San Sebastián" (1986); "San Sebastián de antaño" (1988). He was a member of the Real Academia de la Historia (RAH). He died on 23rd October 1991 in Madrid.
