History:

Spanish high school teacher.

He was born on 10th September 1892 in Noya, La Coruña. Son of Joaquín María Agra and Luisa Cadarso Ronquete, his parent were cousins; brother of Blas Luis de Agra Cadarso; Grandson by his paternal line of Blas Agra and Luisa Cadarso; and by maternal line of Alejandro Cadarso and Pilar Ronquete. He married Isabel Gil López, with whom he had three daughters. She graduated in Law in 1916 at the University of Santiago and later in Philosophy and Arts. He was a teacher of education in the Business College and head of the School of Languages. From 1938 to 1940, he was in charge of the course of Language and Literature of the Ramiro de Maeztu High School in Madrid until 1940, when he took the civil service examination to a chair of Spanish Language and Literature. As he passed the examination, he was assigned to the Valdepeñas High School (Ciudad Real). He worked from 1943 to 1945 as a substitute of the Tribunal Contencioso-Administrativo Provincial of La Coruña as counsel. Subsequently, he devoted himself to teaching. In 1946, he was appointed tenured Spanish Language teacher by the Dirección General de Enseñanza Profesional y Técnica for merit-based competition. In 1951, he entered the Bar Association of Madrid. In 1962, after retiring as a Spanish teacher for foreigners, he was appointed headmaster School of Languages by the Writ of August of the Ministry of National Education. Four years later, he was designated honorary director of this school, nevertheless, he refused that position.
