History:
Spanish Viscount of Beniel that served in the military. He married Teresa Villanova de la Cuadra. He served in the Secretariat of the Delegación de Propaganda y Prensa of the Defence Juntas of Madrid. In 1933 he was Head of the Department of first-class at the Ministry of Government. In 1939 he joined the Escala de Complemento del Cuerpo Jurídico del Aire, being promoted to Captain in 1941. In 1954 the title of Viscount was restored and he became the last owner of this title. In 2007, his heir, Nicolás Juan Ibarreta de Aravaca, requested the restoration of the title.
