Spanish archivist-librarian.

From Badajoz. He studied baccalaureate in the Instituto Cardenal Cisneros of Madrid. Social worker of the Cuerpo Facultativo de Archiveros, Bibliotecarios y Arqueólogos. He started his professional career in the Archivo de la Delegación de Hacienda de Madrid (1933); that same year, he moved to the one of the Delegación de Hacienda y Archivo de la Audiencia Territorial de Cáceres (1933-1935). Finished the Civil War, and after being purified with no sanction, he requested to re-enter the Cuerpo. The Comandante de caballería and Jefe Provincial de Milicias of the F. E. T. and of the J. O. N. S. of Badajoz, Gaspar Holgado Manzanera, issued a favourable certificate in relation to the conceded rewards for the campaigning merits acquired during the war. He directed the Museo Arqueológico Provincial de Badajoz in 1939. Then, he will continue his career in the Archivo de la Delegación de Hacienda de Badajoz (1938-1951), and it will be then when he moves to the Biblioteca Nacional de España (1915). He retired around 1962.
