Spanish archivist and librarian.
Daughter of Apolonio Jiménez Jiménez, teacher and shipowner, and Teresa Lambea Benaul, teacher. After being orphaned by her father, the family moved to Aragón, where her mother was teacher in Pina de Ebro. Margarita did the baccalaureate in Zaragoza, and then licensed in Philosophy and Letters, History section, by Zaragoza's University. Member of the Cuerpo Auxiliar de Archiveros, Bibliotecarios y Arqueólogos from 1933; before the war, she was destined in the archive of the Delegación de Hacienda of Castellón de la Plana, in the Archivo de la Corona de Aragón, and in the Archivo Histórico Nacional. After the beginning of the war, she moved to the Archivo Regional of Valencia. Purified, she was supported by Juan Moneva, re-entering the active service in the Archivo de la Corona de Aragón. Then, she went to the Registro de la Propiedad Intelectual, the Junta de Intercambio y Lectura, and the Escuela de Peritos Industriales, where she retired in 1978.
