Spanish Paul missionary, professor, and writer.
He was born in Blanes (Gerona) in 1721. He was the first provincial superior of the Congregación de la Misión Española (Paúl, CM).
He studied Philosophy and joined the Congregación de la Misión in Barcelona in 1743; he was ordained as a priest in 1748. In addition to being a professor, a popular missionary, and a director of spiritual retreats, Father Ferrer dedicated the final years of his life to writing works in which he reflected his spiritual and apostolic experience. He passed away in Barcelona in 1789.
