History:

Spanish teacher, academic, researcher and photographer. He studied in the school of the Augustinian Fathers of Trujillo, and later, in the Magisterio of Madrid and Cáceres, as he was granted with a scholarship by the Fundación Margarita de Iturralde.

He was sent as teacher to Valencia de Alcántara (Cáceres), where he lived and worked for the rest of his life.

His discovers and researches about the megalithic art are really recognized in between the academics. He is author of a monuments catalog of Valencia de Alcántara and its region.

A versatile man. He collaborated with the national radio, in their show Retama, where he talked about lesser known facts of Extremadura's history. Those emissions were given between 1980 and 1987, and are collected in a book called "Curiosidades de la Historia de Estremadura".

Moreover, he frequently worked as correspondent in the journal "Hoy", where he published numerous archaeological, historical and epigraphical works. He also did different prestigious publications and never abandoned his passion for photography. Some of his pictures were published in the national journals.
