Spanish architect. Son of Francisco Iñiguez Iñiguez, Director of the Observatorio Astronómico of Madrid, and María del Pilar Almech. Brother of José María. He obtained his title as architect in 1925. His work was focused on the conservation and restoration of architect monuments. He was an assistant professor in the Escuela Superior de Arquitectura of Madrid. In 1943, he obtained the Chair of Theory of Arts and Buildings Composition. Years later, in 1950, he was named Director of the Escuela Española de Historia y Arqueología of Rome. In 1958, he came back to Madrid, in order to rejoin his teaching activity as teacher of Architecture History. In 1965, he was named ordinary teacher of Art History and Architecture History in the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitecture of Navarre. That same year, he obtained the award "Ricardo Magdalena" for the restoration of the Aljafería. From 1971 until 1982, he was an assistant manager of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitecture of Navarre. In 1980, the Real Academia de Nobles y Bellas Artes de San Luis de Zaragoza named him honorary academic for dedicating his whole life to the restoration in the architect heritage. He passed away in Pamplona, in 1982.
