Spanish archaeologist and professor. PhD in Philosophy and Arts by the Universidad Complutense (1957). He received a grant from the Escuela Española de Historia y Arqueología (Spanish School of History and Archaeology) (1955-1958), lecturer of Archaeology in the former Universidad Complutense of Madrid (1959-1968); secretary in the Instituto Rodrigo Caro of Archaeology, an organization from the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC); professor of Archaeology, Epigraphy and Numismatics at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. Master of archeologists, his knowledge about the past was combined with his abilitiy for languages, which allowed him to keep up with the most recent scientific discoveries from the archaeology international community.
From his works and international collaboration we can highlight "Dizionario Epografico de la Antichitá Romane".
