History:

Spanish Law professor who was the son of José and María Victoria. He started his academic training studying the Baccalaureate of Arts at the Instituto de Málaga, where he got the baccalaureate in Theology. He was awarded a degree in Law, Philosophy and Letters, as well as a doctorate at the University of Seville.

His academic career was focus on the University of Seville where he was appointed assistant without a salary at the Faculty of Law. In 1879, he got promoted to supernumerary professor. In 1884 he became a professor of General History of the Spanish Law and later on he achieved the rank of Dean of the Faculty of Law.
