History:

Spanish professor. He was the son of Llach Anglasell y Armengol, who was a lawyer, and Ramona Serrano de Aparicio. His brother was the professor Ramón Anglasell. He got married to Emilia Puig-Oriol y Oliver.

He started his academic training in 1844 studying the degree of Jurisprudence at the University of Barcelona, where he obtained the baccalaureate of Jurisprudence in 1848. In 1858, he began the course of doctorate by being successfully tested at the Universidad Central in Madrid.

His academic career was focused at the University of Barcelona and it outstood for being the substitute in the chairs of Criminal and Roman Law at the Faculty of Law, where he was an assistant professor too. In 1864, he was appointed supernumerary professor and he was also designated numerary professor of Theory and Practice of Legal Proceedings in 1867. Besides his teaching work, he was also the secretary of the Faculty of Law.
