Spanish Law professor and priest. He combined his academic career with his ecclesiastical activities being a confessor, a preacher and the person in charge of the Holy Metropolitan Church of Granada.
He started his academic training at the Real de los Santos Apostoles San Bartolomé y Santiago el Mayor in Granada. It was also at the university of this city where he began his studies in Philosophy and Jurisprudence.
His academic career was centred at the University of Granada and he outstood for being the substitute of the chairs of Canonical and Civil Institutions. He got the last one in 1829. In addition, he was dean of the Faculty of Jurisprudence, interim rector and vice rector.
